Biography

The well-known Czech painter Jarmila Kalašová graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Prague from 1947 to 1950. Its professors were prof. F. Silent / leading personality of Czech art avant-garde / and prof. A. Strnadel / painter, illustrator national artist /.

In 1950 - 1952 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Prof. V. Rada / graphic, painter, Illustrator, National artist /

She has participated in many exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. Prague, Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne, Liberec, Teplice and many more.
