Biography

Painter Nella Lariková  /nar. 1959 /

Nella Larikova was born in 1959 in Kharkhov. She graduated from two colleges – College of Arts and Internation college of social sciences, section of performing arts.

In 1990, she started to paint using Marquetry technique under the guidance of the academic painter Wladislaw Safronov /leading designer and painter/ who is well known for the resumption of this old technique, which was mostly used for decoration of castles and noble residences.

Since 2004, she lives in the Czech Republic and uses Marquetry technique for her works on renovation of old furniture at historical castles.

Her paintings in this style have considerable success in private collections in Germany, France, Russia and Czech Republic. She also had her paintings displayed at numerous exhibitions both in Czech Republic and abroad, at places like Czech Parliament, International exhibition at Prachatice, Passau and others.
